PT DAHANA held PT DAHANA’s Good Corporate Governance (GCG) Assessment Entry Meeting for the 2022 fiscal year. The meeting was attended by the West Java Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), the Board of Commissioners, the Board of Directors, representatives of series B shareholders of PT Len Industri (Persero), and the Counterpart team. The meeting was given in a hybrid manner on Friday, 5 May 2023, in the Smart Room of the DAHANA Subang Campus.

In his remarks, the President Director of DAHANA, Wildan Widarman, expressed his gratitude for the presence of the West Java BPKP Representative Head, Samono and the team at DAHANA. As is known, the GCG implementation assessment for DEFEND ID Holding Members for the 2022 Fiscal Year was carried out with the BPKP.

“This is the second time DAHANA has performed a GCG assessment by BPKP. Previously, in the 2020 Fiscal Year, DAHANA also underwent the same assessment. Meanwhile, in the 2021 Fiscal Year, DAHANA carried out a Self-Assessment based on BPKP’s previous year assessment results. The aim is to assess and evaluate the implementation of good corporate governance. Hopefully with good implementation, DAHANA can achieve its GCG implementation target and improve its performance in the future.” said Mr Widarman.

Mr Widarman also hoped that this year DAHANA can improve the implementation of corporate governance and score on the assessment for the 2022 fiscal year. PT DAHANA’s GCG implementation target for all aspects in the 2022 Fiscal Year is 84.25 under a “Good” classification.

In line with the President Director, Rina Moreta, who represents the Board of Commissioners of DAHANA, expressed her gratitude to the Head of the BPKP and the assessor team who are willing to carry out the GCG assessment at DAHANA. She hoped that DAHANA will be able to surpass the previous year’s GCG achievements.

“We hope that with this assessment, DAHANA will be aware of the deficiencies in the prevailing GCG implementation for better future implementation. Our target for 2022 with a score of 84 can be achieved,” said Mrs Moreta.

Meanwhile, Head of West Java BPKP Representative Samono explained that, in accordance with the regulatory mandate that given to BPKP, his institution will conduct a the 2022 GCG which emphasizes in sustainability issues.

“PT DAHANA is a company in the field of explosives. I can imagine PT DAHANA is closely related to environmental issues. This relates to new standards with obligation to report aspects of sustainability as well,” explained Mr Samono.

The West Java BPKP Assessor Team will be accompanied by a Counterpart Team formed by DAHANA. The assessment is targeted to be completed within 25 working days.
