The peak of the series of Occupational Health and Safety(OHS) Month commemorations, PT DAHANA held a webinar under the the topic “Implementation of OHS Culture in Every Business Activity to Support the Protection of Workers in the Digital Era”. The session was held online through a zoom meeting on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.

 

In his remarks, DAHANA’s Senior Manager of OSH and Live Environment & Technology, Erwin Cipta explained, the commemoration of the National OHS Month of 2022 is the second implementation since the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. He hoped that this condition will not reduce the spirit of implementing Occupational Health and Safety and within the Company’s vicinity.

 

“DAHANA consistently commemorates the OHS Month in hoping that better knowledge and awareness of OHS can help reduce the number of company’s occupational accidents. Until now, we are also still implementing health protocols for employees and partners, vaccinations, and booster vaccines to help speed up the recovery of health, employment and economic conditions,” said Mr Cipta.

 

For the  webinar, DAHANA invited notable resource persons, among others, DR. Indriati Oetama (Head of P2P Subang District Health Office) with the topic of “Beware of Omicron Variants and the Importance of Booster Vaccinations”, Agus Diana, S.Sos (Middle Expert Employment Supervisor of West Java Province Manpower and Transmigration) with the topic of “Applying OHS Culture in Every Business Activity”, and Yan Fuadi , ST, MKKK (HSE Specialist – Health, Safety & Risk Manager of PT Sumbawa Timur Mining) with the topic of “Strengthening Superior Human Resources and OHS Culture in the Digital Era”

 

This webinar was attended by more than one hundred participants consisting of DAHANA employees, vendors and company partners. In addition to webinars, DAHANA also launched an Android-based HSE application to support digitalization which is used to report issues on unsafe acts and conditions, safety talk to safety performance.

 

Based on DAHANA’s safety performance data presented in the TRCFR (Total Recordable Cause Frequency Rate), the TRCFR target is 2.89 with the TRCFR result in 2021 being 0.00 and  number of working hours being 1,963,840 hours. This HSE application is expected to improve consistency in reporting so as to minimize work accidents.

 

Apart from launching of HSE application, in commemoration of the OHS Month of 2022, DAHANA also held various activities such as, OHS Photography & Reels Challenge, OHS Run, Rescue & Firefighting Challenge for employees, Safety Award for jobsite projects, and games related to OHS culture.
