PT DAHANA speeded up booster vaccination for employees for preventing Covid-19. In parallel, vaccinations were carried out at the Subang Head Office on January 13 and 28, 2022, and on February 2, 2022 at Dahana Jakarta Office. To date, 90% of DAHANA’s employees have received booster vaccinations.

According to DAHANA’s Corporate Secretary, Bayu Anggoro, booster vaccinations are being accelerated in support to the effort for national herd immunity in hoping that Indonesia can soon get free from the pandemic that has been lasting for two years. Apart from that, this is a step to protect DAHANA’s people working in the explosives industry.

“The booster vaccination is DAHANA’s effort to assist the government in improving herd immunity and a form of company concern for the employees. Currently, we are also still implementing strict health protocols, and continuing to carry out Work From Home (WFH) and Work From Office (WFO) scheme,” said Mr Anggoro at the Dahana Subang Campus (08/02).

Chief of PT DAHANA’s Covid-19 Task Force also explained that booster vaccination was carried out in accordance with the Circular Letter of the Indonesian Ministry of Health through the Directorate General of Disease Prevention and Control Number HK.02/II/252/2022 on  Booster Dose of Covid-19

Mr Anggoro explained that booster jabs were given to employees who had completed the second vaccination six months earlier to provide better body’s resistance to new variants of the Covid-19 virus. Vaccinations are also held in strict compliance with health protocols both at the Subang and Jakarta offices.

“It is out hope that despite the fact the employees have received a booster vaccination, they will not ignore health protocols in their daily activities to make sure that work can still be carried out in a optimum way without anyone being exposed to new variants of Covid-19,” he said.
