PT DAHANA’s Board of Directors paid a visit to the Ministry of Public Work and Public Housing (PUPR) in order to introduce the new Board of Directors (BOD) while building synergies and collaborations to support government infrastructure projects. The BOD were warmly welcomed by Minister Basuki Hadimuljono in his office in Jakarta on Monday, January 24, 2022.
On the occasion, the Minister was accompanied by the Secretary General, Inspector General, and the Director General of Water Resources of the Ministry of PUPR. Meanwhile, the President Director of PT DAHANA Wildan Widarman was accompanied by the Director of Technology & Development Suhendra Yusuf RPN, the Director of Operations Bambang Agung and the Director of Finance, MR and HR Ahyanizzaman.
On this occasion, Mr Widarman said that DAHANA is capable of supporting the National Strategic Projects (PSN) in the construction sector with total explosives solution services that can help accelerate the development process.
“DAHANA is ready to contribute even better within its expertise in these projects. We are grateful for the commitment of the PUPR Ministry to using domestic explosive products,” said Mr Widarman.
Meanwhile, Minister Hadimuljo welcomed the synergy and collaboration with DAHANA. He also stated that he would encourage the organs of the Ministry of PUPR, BUMN Karya, and construction contractors who need blasting services to use domestic services.
“This is an effort to increase the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) as mandated by President Joko Widodo some time ago,” said Minister Hadimuljono.
Up to the present, the government continues to pursue equitable development throughout Indonesia by executing infrastructure projects such as the construction of toll roads in Java (Bawen-Yogya), Sumatra (Pekanbaru-Padang), and several other toll road constructions. In addition to that, the government is now in the process of constructing 39 dam projects.
Minister Hadimuljo hoped that DAHANA’s drilling and blasting methods and technology will help accelerate the process of infrastructure development, especially those carried out by BUMN Karya to make sure that the outcome of the development can be immediately utilized by the people
DAHANA has contributed to the success of several government-owned infrastructure projects such as the Suralaya 2 X 1000 MW PLTU construction project, Trans Sumatra toll road in the Lampung sector, Trenggalek Monument Dam, Mandeh Access Road Construction in West Sumatra, Jati Gede Dam, Salira PLTU Swityard and the Strategic National Development Project (PSN).
Minister Hadimuljo’s direction was warmly welcomed by DAHANA’s Director of Technology and Development, Suhendra Yusuf RPN. Mr Yusuf appreciated the efforts to be realized by the Minister of PUPR in collaboration with DAHANA.
“Thank God, we have got good response from the Minister of PUPR and his staff was. Of course, DAHANA is ready and will provide the best service in the field of blasting in the construction sector to support faster and safer national development,” said Mr Yusuf.
