PT DAHANA participated in the Alegoris parade which was held in a lively atmosphere. The parade was given out in order to celebrate the 75th birthday of Subang Regency. DAHANA sent 25 millennial employees in decorative cars carrying DAHANA’s dummy of superior explosives products in the military and commercial sectors on Monday, May 29, 2023.
DAHANA’s Legal and Corporate Communications Senior Manager, Juli Jajuli explained that DAHANA’s participation in this Alegoris parade not only enlivened DAHANA’s explosives products to the public.
“It has been 10 years since DAHANA has its head office in Subang and has occupied a national vital object. Of course, many people are curious about DAHANA’s products, that’s why we are presenting these products in the parade this time,” explained Mr Jajuli.
The parade started from Jalan Otista, then moved across the Alun-Alun and the Regent’s Office before finishing at Bintang Subang Field. The parade attracted residents of Subang Regency and invited guests who attended the 75th anniversary commemoration.
The dummy products on board DAHANA’s decorative car includes the Blast Effect Bomb, the RHAN 450 Rocket, and its latest innovation, namely Rajata, a kamikaze drone that won the 2022 defense innovation competition. Apart from that, there were dummy products for commercial explosives such as Danfo, Dawagel, to other blasting accessories.
“We have millennial employees taking part in the parade. Thanks God, the public were enthusiastic about seeing the defense products that we brought because as they are unique in any way,” said Mr Jajuli.
Mr Jajuli also said that in this parade, DAHANA brought a message about the Company’s commitment to progress and develop with the people of Subang. As the Qibla of Indonesian Explosives, DAHANA wishes to set an example for other companies in Subang to make a positive contribution and always support development and progress in Subang Regency.
“We are proud to be able to participate in the Alegoris parade and celebrate the 75th anniversary of Subang Regency. We are committed to continuing to contribute to the progress and development of the Subang community. Congratulations on celebration of Subang Regency’s 75th Anniversary, Subang Jawara,” concluded Mr Jajuli.
As is well known, DAHANA moved to Subang Regency in 2012 and occupies 600 hectares of land in Cibogo District. Following its relocation to Subang, DAHANA has contributed to the development of the surrounding community through the Social and Environmental Responsibility (SERL) unit as well as regional income contributions.
This contribution is mainly delivered the sectors of education, health, environment, and community economic development through MSE coaching. Currently, DAHANA has succeeded in fostering MSE’s in Subang Regency; some of the SME’s products, such as a coffee, handicrafts, food, and charcoal, have regular buyers from the world market.
