PT DAHANA (Persero) received two awards during the occasion of TOP CSR Award 2018, Budi Antono, President Director of DAHANA was awarded as Top Leader on CSR Commitment 2018, and PT DAHANA (Persero) as TOP CSR 2018 achiever for the explosive industry sector. The awards were presented at The Sultan Hotel Jakarta, Thursday, 4 October 2018.
This prestigious event was attended by 150 Indonesian leading companies. Award judging was based on points specified in the Social Responsibility (SR) ISO 26000. Each of the participating companies was examined by a board of judges through interviews and presentation. Participants also received written feedback from the committee.
Dahana has been implementing Community Partnership program since 1992, a program which has been intended to help develop the people’s economy and support the local community’s related activities. DAHANA has spent billions rupiahs of its profit for the community partnership programs. Apart from supply of working capital, this explosive producing company has also been actively involved in marketing of the partner’s products such as by giving the partners the chance to join local, national and international exhibition events.
DAHANA has also been involved in the local community activities. One of DAHANA’s current programs was the establishment DAHANA Reading Centre (Taman Canda) at Cibogo, Subang which gives easy reading and playing access to 1,400 children around the company.
During DAHANA’s 52nd Anniversary, the reading centre was simply a remarkable present to DAHANA that encourages DAHANA to leap further into a brighter future.
